Premise is that the Holy Order of St Catherine of Alexandria is facing a fiscal crisis. Rather than close down, they sell their possessions and head to Dahlonega, GA, where they open up a convent casino.
Conflict will be the church-state struggle and the internal struggle within the Episcopal Church. The Christians in Atlanta are appalled, the bishop wants a cut and the 815 crowd are conflicted. Meanwhile the Cherokees in Cherokee, NC are trying to figure out how to shut the competition down. The Georgia politicians aren't agianst it per se, but they want a piece of the action.

Matthew is the obvious choice. St Margaret of Clitherow is another. St Bernadine of Siena has the needed irony (PR and gambling!). I like St Rita of Cascia, St Jude and St Anthony of Padua as well. St Anthony Claret is a good 'un. As is St Barbara.
